New internet options in the area - Dec 15, 2009

Currently in addition to traditional dial-up and ISDN connections, the following options are available:
ASDL - available from ICE upto 4/0.768 mbs connection.
CABLE - 4/1 mbs connection.
WIMAX - 768/384 kbs connection.
GSM - available from ICE 3G high speed internet.

Clearly a ADSL or Cable connection is the most desireable due to higher speeds, reliabilty and lower pricing, but it is great that wireless options are also available where a hardline connection is not. With the recent opening of the market more options are becoming available and with increased competition pricing should go down while quality continues to improve.
